NP: "Euge! Ego audivit quod comitatu! What is SharePoint?"

Me: "Umm … facit cooperatio … populi ad participes notitia … Suus suggestum enim aedificium negotiis sol…"

NP: Oculos linitionem.

Me: "Sum programmator."

NP: "Euge! I know people in my company that do programming! When I was in high school, Ego lusit circa cum SUMMUS."

    I usually go for "I work in IT" or "I’m a programmer" … I occasionally get people who try to understand "what it’s all about" … but they invariably go "oh yeh .. Habemus etiam opus servo . sedet condimus et nostri omnes sub Geoff scriptor elit sodales in ea"

    That is very funny and very true. Ironically, quidquid ipsis responderim, Ego semper scitur (intra familiam meam) sicut qui scit guy figere computers.

    LATRO! That’s a funny blog! "someone named Samantha (uxorem, videtur)"…Concidi paene e sella! Seriously, licet…I have this conversation A LOT. I usually just say "i’m a computer guy". That usually shuts them up and I try not to get into any of the gory details about my gig because they really don’t care anyway unless they are in the industry (et in industria, Ego vere dicitur quia a persona SharePoint). 🙂
